“Pete and Kim are just dating but are taking things slow for right now,” Davidson’s friend said, in a series of posts from a gossip site.
The Saturday Night Live star and 35-year-old reality star became linked after Davidson introduced Kardashian to Ariana Grande, who was engaged to his former fiancee, Pete Davidson, before they broke up in May. On Wednesday, Davidson further fuelled the rumours with a series of Snapchat posts. In one, Davidson asked “Who’s kim [kardashian]?”, before adding “yo [she] want[s] to come to like a house party? I like she over in the city like tomorrow”.
When asked if she was dating anyone, she replied: “Pete Davidson!”
Some time later, she posted a new Snapchat video captioned: “We’re in a shwag moment”. However, the last of the four Snapchats she had posted were personal in nature. She said she was leaving for a day and he wished her well.
Neither of the pair has commented on the rumours. TMZ, the celebrity news outlet which first reported Kardashian’s connection to Davidson, said the two first met on the set of Kourtney and Kim Take Miami, back in 2011. Since then they’ve kept in touch and are both extremely close to their families.
“Just last week, Pete felt like it was time to take his relationship with Kim to the next level,” a source told E! News. “They were spending so much time together it got pretty serious pretty fast.”
Since his split from Grande, Davidson has been out partying in New York. This week, he was photographed wearing a mask and a wig to conceal his identity as he made a run for it.
One week earlier, Davidson posted a video of himself walking to his hotel by himself, showing off his new cropped hairstyle. He later appeared to have changed back to his usual hairstyle.
